Chairman - Interlink Capital Limited 1992 - Present
Interlink Capital Equity Partners invests in profitable middle-market companies that are seeking full or partial liquidity for their owners, or capital to fund growth strategies. The Fund’s equity investment size ranges up to Rs: 50 million. Typically, the Fund serves as lead investor, but in certain circumstances, Co-invests with other private equity sponsors in larger transactions where we initiate the transaction and take the lead role.
Interlink Capital Equity has a longer hold period for its investments than is typically the case in the private equity world. We look to grow our platform investments over the natural life of their growth profile, 4 to 6 years. This value orientation to our investments means we are highly selective of the management teams we partner with and companies we invest in. The investment opportunities we seek focus on growth strategies where operational improvements and add-on acquisitions can be achieved, enhancing profitability.

Past President Rotary
in the year 1978 I established business operations in Colombo at Queen Street. At that time I was living in London and running businesses out of London. As a result of starting a business operations in Colombo I was compelled to travel to Colombo once in two months.
At that time my late father-in-law Reggie Candappa was a member of the Rotary club of Karma West which was the largest Rotary club in the country at that time. He encouraged me to enjoy rotary and I became a member of the Rotary club of Canada West in 1983. Even though I was a vice president in London I continued to maintain my membership of the Rotary club. And on my return to Sri Lanka I can continue to attend Rotary club meetings. Over the time I was appointed to the board as director of various functions and avenues of service of the Rotary club.
In the year 1999 I was elected as a vice president of the Rotary club of Colombo West. I was going to be nominated as a president in the year 2000. As incoming Pres I chose an avenue of service as my main avenue of service titled rotary bringing peace. At that time the ethnic conflict was quite ripe and the LTTE was quite active with many bomb explosions within the country.
As rotary had many clubs established within the country I use the opportunity to propagate piece in the country.
